Tourism operators and community organizations across the Ottawa Valley are being encouraged to participate in the 2026 Tourism Performance and Sustainability Survey from Ontario’s Highlands Tourism Organization (OHTO).
The survey gives tourism businesses an opportunity to share how the past season performed, how business compares to last year, what they’re expecting in 2027, and how sustainability and climate-related challenges are impacting their operations.
New this year, Ottawa Valley participants will also be able to answer region-specific questions, providing valuable insight into the unique opportunities and challenges facing local tourism.
According to OHTO, the feedback collected will help the organization advocate for regional needs with provincial and federal partners, guide strategic planning, and shape future programs and services for the tourism industry across Ontario’s Highlands and the Ottawa Valley.
The survey is open from October 15 to November 12, 2026, and takes just a few minutes to complete.
Eligible participants will also be entered for a chance to win a professional photoshoot with a local photographer valued at $500.

The deadline to participate is 4 p.m. on November 12, 2026.
