The Township of Mississippi Mills will be resurfacing a few roads within Almonte through a “Mill and Overlay Program”.
Running from October 30th until November 9th, crews will be grinding the old asphalt off the top and replacing it with a new layer.
Doing this reduces the amount of time and cost it takes when replacing an entire road surface.
Resurfacing will be taking place on the following roads:
- Wesley Street between John and Water Streets
- Mitcheson Street between Wilkinson and Edward Streets
- James Street between Country and William Streets
Residents will be notified on the work.
