The Renfrew and Area Chamber of Commerce capped off Small Business Week with a tribute to its best and brightest members.
The chamber celebrated its annual Pinnacle of Business Excellence Awards at the Renfrew Wing on Friday night, recognizing businesses and people nominated by both residents and fellow businesses for their contributions to the community, the local economy, and for making life in the Ottawa Valley a little bit better.
Executive Director Sandra Swain says each winner and nominee are a vital part of what keeps the area thriving.
On top of honouring the achievements of chamber members, the evening also underscored the value of local businesses working together to strengthen the wider community.
While she couldn’t pick favourites, Swain did give a special acknowledgement for the Chamber Member of the Year, Boston Pizza Renfrew, for their continuing desire to support the chamber’s goal of building a strong support network for local businesses.
