In this article, you will be able to read the platform of Donna Defalco running for a seat on council in the Town of Arnprior. This is her submission.
Hello everyone,
For those of you, that do not know me, I grew up and spent my childhood on a farm in the Pakenham area. It was there my parents instilled in me the importance of hard work, honesty, respecting your neighbor , and appreciating what we had.
A little over 40 years ago, my husband and I chose to move to Arnprior, and raise our family. In the course of those 40 years, I was involved in the ownership of several businesses in Arnprior.
32 years ago I chose my career in Real Estate, where I find satisfaction dealing with clients on a daily basis.
In addition to Real Estate, I am a wife, mom, and proud Nanni to our beautiful grandchildren , and I enjoy my hours spent as a volunteer at our local Opp Shop..
Elect DONNA DEFALCO and I will bring energy, local knowledge, and life experience to council.
Some of my Priorities would be:
- Health Care-Support Arnprior Regional Health
- Conservative Spending and Minimal Tax Increase
- Continuing to support our amazing Seniors Programs, Food Banks, and Volunteer Centres
- Finding ways to support our local Businesses along with attracting new Businesses to Arnprior
- Continued communication with Police, addressing Local concerns
There are many areas that need consideration and many topics that are important to everyone.
LET ME BE YOUR VOICE.
As one of your councillors, I will bring forward your CONCERNS, WANTS AND NEEDS to the table.
Thank you, Donna Defalco
