Two Arnprior residents have been arrested in connection with the body found in a burned out vehicle in Mississippi Mills last month.
Just after 5pm on Friday, September 11th, Lanark County OPP officers and the Mississippi Mills Fire Department responded to reports of a vehicle fire in a wooded area just off Ramsey Concession 12.
One person was found inside the vehicle, deceased and it was determined that they were a 37-year-old person from Mississippi Mills.
Following an investigation spanning multiple provinces and levels of police, 37-year-old Lindsay Dolan and 33-year-old Dylan Zoobkoff, both from Arnprior have been charged with second degree murder and indignity to a dead body.
The two were arrested on September 30th in Regina, SK. with the help of the Saskatchewan RCMP, Winnipeg Police Service, and the Regina Police Service’s Major Crime Unit and Tactical Support Team.
The suspects are set to appear in court on Friday, October 2nd, in Perth, ON.
The charges have not been proven in court.
