TODAY: The 2026 Fall Palmer River Fest is on for this weekend. Join the fun at the Palmer Rapids Paddler Co-op for a full weekend of clinics, community & music on the Madawaska River! TODAY: Join the Eganville Seniors this Friday for the Milestone Celebration and Pembroke Wheels of the Valley Car Show. Check out the cars from 10:00 am to noon at 30 Bell Street in Eganville for classic cars, the celebration of community milestones, and light lunch. Questions? Call 613-628-2354
TODAY: Friday night is Trivia Night in McNab/Braeside, with this week’s party going tropical! Dress in your best tropical, beach, or island-inspired outfit and join quiz master Jason Marshall at the John A. Gillies Centre starting at 7:00 pm. Teams of up to 6 players can join for $60. Plus, the bar will be open! Register online.
TOMORROW: The Township of McNab/Braeside’s Tour de Poutine is set for tomorrow at Red Pine Bay for a scenic ride or walk through the community. Featuring an out-and-back 8.5km walk or ride route. Shorter distances are available to accomodate all levels of ability. You can register online or on site day of. All registrations include poutine supplied by Betty’s Chips. All registration donations go toward supporting The Longer Table.
TOMORROW: Arnprior District High School The Arnprior District High School is celebrating 150 years tomorrow at their location on Ottawa Street. Starting at 10am, anyone will be able to tour the building and speak with current students and alumni about the history. Food trucks and the Rapids Athletic Skills Challenge will be on throughout the day.
TOMORROW: It’s gymnastics registration day at the myFM Centre in Renfrew. From 9am until noon, classes for children aged 6 or older are available. To register, head on over to the OPG multi-purpose room at the myFM Centre and bring your child’s health card and a registration fee of $160.
