Two more suspects have been arrested in connection with a Clarence-Rockland homicide, bringing the number of arrests to five.
On May 17th, 2025 Russell County OPP responded to reports about a body discovered in the Ottawa River, just east of the Town of Rockland. The person was identified as the missing 63-year-old Robert Prevost of Clarence-Rockland who had been reported missing in March of that year.
Prevost had last been seen at his home in February of 2025 and his death was deemed a homicide.
Since June of 2026, three people have been arrested in connection to the investigation.
- 51-Year-Old Luc Décarie of St-Gabriel-de-Brandon, QC.
- 37-Year-Old Jessica St. Michael of Ottawa
- 38-Year-Old Yvon Vieno of Ottawa
And now, another two bringing the total to five.
On Friday, September 11th, police arrested 23-year-old Mathew Blake of Arnprior. He has been charged with second degree murder, indignity to a dead body and obstructing a peace officer. He is expecting to appear in court on October 2nd.
Then, on September 17th, 47-year-old Sebastien Boucher of Rockland was arrested and charged with obstructing a peace officer, obstructing justice and accessory after the fact. He is expected to appear in court on September 17th.
None of the charges have been proven in court.
