TODAY: Trinity-St. Andrew’s United Church is hosting their monthly free Community Lunch, Tuesday Sept. 15 from 11:30-12:30. Meet up at their Plaunt Street location for two types of homemade soup, sandwiches, and homemade pies for dessert. Everyone is welcome. Donations accepted, but not expected.
TODAY: Join the Renfrew OPP at the Fraud Prevention and Information Presentation on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026 at the Barr Line Community Centre in Douglas. Information sessions are available at 1pm and 5pm. Learn how to recognize scams, phone, email and text frauds and how to protect yourself and your information online.
TODAY: The Opportunity Shop in Arnprior welcomes you to find your treasure at their jewelry sale, this Tuesday and Wednesday at the Arnprior Public Library. The two day sale runs from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on September 15, and again 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on September 16.
TOMORROW: ontrac’s Arnprior office will host a weekly job search drop-in this Wednesday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. Looking for a little extra support with your job search? ontrac staff can help you search for current job opportunities, navigate a variety of job-posting websites, attach and upload documents, use email for your job search, and work through other technology-related challenges. Be sure to bring a current copy of your resume!
TOMORROW: Union 108 presents Yoga in the Park this Wednesday at 6:00 pm in Arnprior’s Hydro Park! Join a community movement series that brings people together to stretch, breathe, and connect outdoors throughout the summer. It’s a free event, but donations are appreciated.
TOMORROW: The winner in the Renfrew County Fair Jackpot 50/50 Draw will be decided on Wednesday, September 16! Proceeds from the raffle support programming and events from the agricultural societies in Arnprior, Renfrew, and Cobden. Tickets available online ahead of the draw.
