TODAY: Whatknots Knitting Circle returns to the Arnprior Library this Monday, August 31, from 10:00 to 11:30 AM! A great social gathering of those who love to get creative. This informal group meets downstairs at the fireplace during the summer months. Participants bring their current yarn projects share ideas and conversation in a creative environment.
TODAY: Cold Bear Brewery in Arnprior hosts their cornhole league Monday nights at 6:00 pm! The greatest athletes in Arnprior and the surrounding area will gather at their Madawaska Blvd. location to compete for a Cold Bear gift card. Games will be played in teams of 2, sign up as a team for $5. Plus, BBQ will be available as a dinner option on Monday nights!
TOMORROW: Trinity-St. Andrew’s United Church is hosting their monthly free Community Lunch, Tuesday Sept. 15 from 11:30-12:30. Meet up at their Plaunt Street location for two types of homemade soup, sandwiches, and homemade pies for dessert. Everyone is welcome. Donations accepted, but not expected.
TOMORROW: Join the Renfrew OPP at the Fraud Prevention and Information Presentation on Tuesday, September 15th, 2026 at the Barr Line Community Centre in Douglas. Information sessions are available at 1pm and 5pm. Learn how to recognize scams, phone, email and text frauds and how to protect yourself and your information online.
TOMORROW: The Opportunity Shop in Arnprior welcomes you to find your treasure at their jewelry sale, this Tuesday and Wednesday at the Arnprior Public Library. The two day sale runs from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm on September 15, and again 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on September 16.
