TODAY: The 171st Renfrew Fair is back for another weekend of fun, food, live music, agricultural feats, and more starting this Thursday, September 10! Amazing events happening everyday, including Thursday’s Truck and Tractor Pull, Saturday’s Demolition Derby, and Horse Pulls all Sunday! Find the full schedule and buy your tickets online.
TODAY: Meet Clancy the therapy dog this Thursday at the Arnprior Public Library! Clancy is a sweet Glen of Imaal Terrier who loves spreading joy throughout the library and receiving lots of pets and praise. He and his handler will be on site from 3:00 to 3:30 pm to earn more community hours through the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program!
TODAY: How good is your aim? Test your skill every other Thursday with an evening of cornhole at the Horton Community Centre starting September 10! Games run from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. Admission is a one-time fee of $15/person that will go towards a potluck supper in December. Teams drawn each evening. Don’t forget to bring indoor shoes!
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Public Library welcomes you to learn juggling this Friday at 4:00 pm! Meet new people, build coordination, and learn the basics of juggling at the Renfrew Library in this fun, hands-on program. Equipment provided! Ages 12-18. Sign up on their website.
TOMORROW: The Arnprior Legion hosts its weekly Burger Friday lunch, rain or shine at Legion Branch 174 on Daniel Street North! Drop by from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for burgers, sausages, hotdogs, fries and poutine. Plus, the bar will be open for refreshments!
