TODAY: Tap into your creative side at St. Andrew’s United Church in Arnprior! The deadline to apply for the church’s water colour painting course is this Tuesday, September 8. Register ahead of their first weekly sessions at 613-623-5531. The first class is from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Monday September 14.
TODAY: The Bonnechere Algonquin First Nation hosts a Mother Earth Medicine Wheel teaching and ceremony event every Tuesday until October 27. Head to the BAFN Cultural Centre, Ma-te-Way Park in Renfrew, for a potluck style meal starting at 11:30 am before teachings are shared at 12:30 pm. Hosted by Algonquins of Pikwakanagan First Nation Knowledge-Holder Sherry Dion.
TOMORROW: The Arnprior Curling Club begins a new 5-week clinic for members this Wednesday, September 9! Enhancing your Understanding of the Role of a Curling Skip covers all aspects of being a skip, including how to approach the game in each end, team dynamics, and then putting it all together by reviewing specific game scenarios.$100+ HST for Members/$120+ HST for Non-Members.
