Update: Police have ended their investigation near John Park Trail in Beachburg. Police thank the public for their patience and understanding.

Original: Upper Ottawa Valley OPP posted on social media asking residents to avoid the area of John Park Trail in Beachburg.
Police say there will be an increased police presence as officers conduct their duties and ask residents to give them space so they can work safely.
There is no threat to public safety at this time.
