TODAY: The Calabogie Summer Classic returns this weekend for top-level amateur and semi-pro racing at Calabogie Motorsports Park. Hosted by CASC-OR August 21-23, racing fans will enjoy high-adrenaline showdowns in multiple classes, including GT Sprints, Formula 1600, Touring Cars, and more! Plus, enjoy a family friendly atmosphere and open access to teams and drivers in the paddocks! Tickets available online.
TODAY: The Downtown Renfrew BIA presents the Heart of Renfrew Market every Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in July and August. Low Square will transform into a vibrant gathering place featuring local farmers, artisans, makers, and small businesses from across the Ottawa Valley. Plus, stick around for their weekly Music in the Square concert.
TODAY: The GM Summer Bash is back this weekend! Greater Madawaska welcomes residents and neighbours to celebrate summer with two days of family fun starting with a carnival, beach games, and more at Barnett Park at 4:00 pm this Friday, with a party hosted by the township’s Canada Day committee on Madawaska Street at 7:00 pm. Then, the Denbigh-Griffith Lions club hosts a community BBQ starting at 11:00 on Saturday!
TOMORROW: The Town of Arnprior’s Cultural Night Market welcomes residents and guests to the historic downtown core and the Arnprior and District Museum to explore diverse food vendors, live performances, and local artisans this Saturday from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
TOMORROW: The Arnprior-Braeside TCG Rumble is this Saturday! All ages & skill levels welcome. Play, trade & learn Pokémon, MTG, Lorcana & more. Drop-ins welcome from 9:30 am to noon at Common Ground Studio, 110 River Road!
TOMORROW: Join the Renfrew Amateur Wrestling Club for thier 1st Annual Summer Classic, this Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Haramis Park in Renfrew! Bring your littles to our Touch-a-Truck event where they can touch and learn about specialty vehicles such as tow trucks, tractors and more! Grab yourself a sweet treat from the bakery sale table and get your shine on at our car wash! We will have Face painting on site from 1-3pm by Fairytale Face Painting!
THIS MONTH: The Cobden, Arnprior, and Renfrew Agricultural Societies present the Renfrew County Fair Jackpot 50/50. Proceeds from the raffle support community events and invest in improvements for all three volunteer-led organizations.
