The club heads to the Arnprior Airport to meet with local firefighters to check out their trucks and cool down with a few sprays of water. TODAY: Get ready to sweat, move, and feel stronger than ever! The Town of Renfrew hosts Kinetics Body Boost with Lindsay starting at 4:30 pm this Wednesday at the myFM Centre. It’s a free high-energy, low-impact fitness program designed to challenge all levels through a mix of strength training, cardio intervals, core work, and functional movements. For ages 16+.
TOMORROW: ontrac Employment Resource Servie invite you to a community appreciation BBQ lunch from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm this Thursday at Cold Bear Brewing Co., 100 Madawaska Blvd. Families, neighbours, and friends are welcome to stop in and enjoy free hot dogs. RSVP ahead by calling 613-623-4680.
TOMORROW: The Township of Greater Madawaska offers Beach Yoga and Yoga Nidra at Barnet Park this Thursday, August 20! Courtney Marie Wellness will lead two back-to-back sessions of relaxation, meditation, movement, and the calming sounds of the water in a beautiful outdoor setting. Don’t forget to bring a mat, comfy clothing, and a water bottle. $15/person, with pre-registration appreciated.
TOMORROW: 96.1 myFM and Canadian Tire Renfrew present the All Hands on Deck Back-to School Food Drive, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm this Thursday, August 20. Drop off food, money, and other essentials at Chris and Tanya’s No Frills and Metro in Renfrew, Giant Tiger in Shawville, and Foodland in Eganville to support families in need through local food banks.
THIS MONTH: The Cobden, Arnprior, and Renfrew Agricultural Societies present the Renfrew County Fair Jackpot 50/50. Proceeds from the raffle support community events and invest in improvements for all three volunteer-led organizations.
