TODAY: Cold Bear Brewery in Arnprior hosts their cornhole league Monday nights at 6:00 pm! The greatest athletes in Arnprior and the surrounding area will gather at their Madawaska Blvd. location to compete for a Cold Bear gift card. Games will be played in teams of 2, sign up as a team for $5. Plus, BBQ will be available as a dinner option on Monday nights!
TODAY: Dragonfly Golf Links is partnering with the EarlyOn Renfrew Child and Family Centre to host a Kid’s Range Day from 9:30 to 11:00 am on Monday, August 17. Kids aged 3 and up can get outside, practice their swing, and have some fun learning the basics of golf. Pre-registration-required for kids hitting the range. Bring your own clubs, with limited available on site.
TOMORROW: Get ready to explore the realms of fantasy with the Renfrew Library’s tween Dungeons and Dragons session this Tuesday at 4:00 pm! Kids age 10-14 can quest through the world of D&D in a convenient two-shot program. Be sure to have your character ready using the game’s 5e 2014 rules ahead of the evening. Register online.
TOMORROW: The Township of Greater Madawaska hosts Breathwork on the Beach this Tuesday at 5:30 pm. Join Courtney Marie Wellness at the Barnet Park Beach for a calming experience of deep emotional healing, enhanced mental clarity, and profound relaxation. $40/person. Bring your own yoga mat, blanket, eye mask and comfy clothing. Register online or at the session.
THIS MONTH: The Cobden, Arnprior, and Renfrew Agricultural Societies present the Renfrew County Fair Jackpot 50/50. Proceeds from the raffle support community events and invest in improvements for all three volunteer-led organizations. The Ottawa Valley Thunder are looking for a goaltender to join ther U15C team! be part of a fun, competitive, and supportive girls hockey program. Register for tryouts online. The selected goalie’s season registration fee will be fully covered thanks to the Defender of the Crease Foundation.
Registration is open for the upcoming season for both Renfrew and Arnprior Minor Hockey, with parents in both communities encouraged to sign up online.
