TODAY: Families of Community Living clients will meet with the public to share their stories this Thursday as local developmental services workers remain on strike. Head to Low Square in Renfrew from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. The family-friendly event features light refreshments, costumed storybook characters, and face painting.
TODAY: Paddle the beautiful Bonnechere River with Mad River Paddle Co. and the Town of Renfrew! Dive into summer fun with this casual group paddle starting at the Riverview Drive Boat Launch this Thursday at 6:00 pm. Free with your own kayak canoe or paddleboard, or contact Mad River Paddle Co. for rentals for gear.
TODAY: Meet Clancy the terrier and his handler every Thursday at the Arnprior Public Library! They will meet with library visitors every Thursday at 3:00 pm as they gain community hours through the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program. Clancy loves spreading joy throughout the library and receiving lots of pets and praise.
TOMORROW: The Downtown Renfrew BIA presents the Heart of Renfrew Market every Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in July and August. Low Square will transform into a vibrant gathering place featuring local farmers, artisans, makers, and small businesses from across the Ottawa Valley. Plus, stick around for their weekly Music in the Square concert.
TOMORROW: The Arnprior Legion hosts its weekly Burger Friday lunch, rain or shine at Legion Branch 174 on Daniel Street North! Drop by from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for burgers, sausages, hotdogs, fries and poutine. Plus, the bar will be open for refreshments!
