TODAY: The Downtown Renfrew BIA presents the Heart of Renfrew Market every Friday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 pm in July and August. Low Square will transform into a vibrant gathering place featuring local farmers, artisans, makers, and small businesses from across the Ottawa Valley. Plus, stick around for their weekly Music in the Square concert.
TODAY: The Arnprior Legion hosts its weekly Burger Friday lunch, rain or shine at Legion Branch 174 on Daniel Street North! Drop by from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for burgers, sausages, hotdogs, fries and poutine. Plus, the bar will be open for refreshments!
TOMORROW: The Kids, Cops, and Canadian Tire Fishing Derby returns to the Cobden Boat Launch on Muskrat Lake this Saturday from 9:00 am to noon! It’s an event hosted by the Renfrew OPP. Prizes for various categories, donated by local sponsors. Registration starting at 8:30 am at the OPP tent.
TOMORROW: The Parents’ Voice- Shawville Area hosts its bi-annual Touch a Truck event at the Shawville Fair Grounds this Saturday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm! Families are invited to explore vehicles from the area and enjoy BBQ with the SDMHA, plus face painting, bouncy castles, and appearances from special guests.
THIS WEEKEND: Ottawa Valley Slo-Pitch returns to the McNab Ball Diamonds this Saturday with two tournaments perfect for players looking for a tune up or earn extra cash this weekend: Warm Up for Worlds 2026 plays all Saturday, followed by the Summer Cash Clash Co-ed on Sunday.
