Police in the Almonte area continue to investigate a fatal motorcycle collision that happened just outside of town.
Just after 2:00pm on Wednesday, July 8, the Lanark County OPP were called to a single vehicle crash involving a motorcycle along Wolf Grove Road between Gibson Road and 8th Concession B Lanark.
The sole rider of the motorcycle, a 73-year-old male from Lanark Highlands, was transported to hospital by Air Ornge in critical condition. He has since died from his injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing with assistance from the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Reconstructionist.
