The Greater Madawaska Business Showcase has a new name and new experiences for the community to enjoy.
Community Development Coordinator Jenna McEwan says the GM Local Social on June 20 will highlight the businesses, services, and vendors that keep the township, which she believes is one of the best-kept secrets in the Ottawa Valley, thriving.
After entertaining hundreds of visitors during the event’s debut last year, McEwan says this year’s Local Social is expanding to sprawl into the parking lot of the Dan O’Neill Arena with live entertainment and activities, providing a community event that’s far more than a trade show.
Attendees will also have the chance to head home with some amazing raffle prizes supplied by the many businesses taking part.
Admission is free, and the township encourages the community to check their social media pages regularly for details and updates.
