An exciting new Recreation program is starting next month in Arnprior- and some may call it an initiative that’s long overdue.
That’s Arnprior Recreation Programmer Naomi Williamson, who says one of the aims is to overcome an existing stigma.
If we look at advancements in the popularity of professional women’s sport, the athletes of tomorrow require support today.
There are two components to the Arnprior initiative that will benefit young girls from childhood into their teens.
Girls in Sports will be rolling out next month.
Naomi says the varied program will keep girls’ interest for the duration.
