Mississippi Millians are used to showing off their town to visiting family members- and even pointing out where scenes from the many movies made there have been shot.
If you’re keeping track- this month’s three flicks push the total number of films to over fifty.
Mayor Christa Lowry has been keeping track, and for March, only one is a Christmas Movie, that being Single Bells.
When I Said I Do, starring Clint Black and Lisa Hartman Black is being shot at the Almonte Fire Station and the Mill of Kintail.
Pie Queen is on location at the Almonte Butcher Shop & Deli, Francis Fuels and Cedar Hill Christmas Tree Farm; and the movie Single Bells, at Evermore Weddings and Events.
All of the projects generate economic development for the Municipality in one form or another- and this month’s activity requires no road closures or traffic tie-ups.
