The Municipality of Mississippi Mills has an annual Community Open House that profiles the many opportunities residents have for local involvement.
It’s coming up Thursday April 9th from 3-7PM at the John Levi Community Centre (182 Bridge Street, Almonte).
The event gives you the opportunity to meet over 60 local groups and organizations ranging from sports and recreation to festivals, nature clubs, and community services.
While you’re there, it’s a great way to register for some popular municipal activities, including Youth Summer Sports Camp,
Summer Pickleball Program, and the Pakenham Youth Soccer Program; just stop by the MM Recreation and Culture booth to do so.
The April 9th registration is for residents only.
Non-residents can register as of April 13th at Almonte Old Town Hall.
