Here’s what’s going on in Arnprior and area over the next 48 hours.
Arnprior:
Take Note: Welcome to the St. Paddy’s Party at the Nick Smith Centre! Attend on Saturday March 14th at either 1:00 PM or 8:00PM to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in style. Don’t forget to wear your favorite green outfit and get ready to dance the day away. Purchase your ticket for $20 plus HST for the afternoon (1-4pm) or evening (8-11pm) show. The first performance is by Sherryl Fitzpatrick and Anna Ludlow from 1:00-2:15pm, followed by The Kyle Felhaver Band from 2:30-4:00pm. The evening show opens with Riverside Revival from 8:00-9:30pm- when The Kyle Felhaver Band concluding the festivities.

Mississippi Mills:
Today: Pickup Hockey for Grades 6-9 happens at the John Levy Community Centre in Almonte from 4-5PM. Admission is $5, and full equipment is required.
Pickup Hockey for Grades 10 to U21 takes place from 4-5PM at the Stewart Community Centre in Pakenham
The Mississippi Mills Youth Centre Art Night occurs at the MMYC from 5-7PM. It’s a free art program for ages 10-18. To register, or for information email programcoordinator@mmyc.ca
In Conversation with Emily Austin, author of “Is This A Cry For Help?”, takes place at 630PM at the Almonte Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library. Today: Paralympics Wheelchair Curling Watch Party happens from 130-3PM at the Carleton Place Public Library.
The Family Pride Connect gathering occurs from 6-730PM at the Carleton Place Public Library. Join us for a monthly meetup for families with someone navigating an identity journey.
Quiz Night takes place from 7-9PM at Stalwart Brewing Co. $10 for a pint and a play for the winning prize + a pint. There’s a wide range of subjects, themes and challenges. The event is for teams of two, but singles welcome. Email quiznight@stalwartbrewing.ca to reserve

The EOJHL’s Richardson Division Semi-Final Playoff series Game 5 goes Friday Mar 13th at the Nick Smith Centre as the Arnprior Packers host the Renfrew Junior Timberwolves.
