UPDATE 10:40 am:
Town staff confirm that water pressure has been restored for most of Arnprior following multiple reports from residents experiencing problems with their taps on Thursday morning.
Chief Administrative Officer Robin Paquette says the problem will remain isolated to some properties near the area of Havey, Russell, Thomas, and William Streets for an undetermined amount of time until emergency repairs are completed.
No boil water advisory is in effect at the moment, but the Renfrew County District Health Unit is advising that residents flush their taps out for two minutes or until the water runs clear.
The town of Arnprior says they are aware of the situation as residents continue to report a drop in water pressure throughout town.
Staff are still figuring out the cause of the problem and other related details, but note that crews are working to isolate and fix the issue as of Thursday morning.
Affected residents can stay up to date through the town’s website, their social media, and through the Arnprior app.
