Take Note: The Arnprior and McNab-Braeside Archives (AMBA) is opening its doors-and its vault-for a special Volunteer Showcase on Saturday, November 22nd, from 10AM-1PM at the archives located inside the Arnprior Public Library. This free, drop-in event invites the public to explore the remarkable stories, collections, and people behind this award-winning community archives.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: A Meal for All’s Free Community Breakfast takes place from 830-1030AM at 111 Church Street in Almonte. A MEAL FOR ALL strives to build community by providing opportunities to gather and share food.
Tomorrow: Coffee Time Drop-in happens from 10-1130AM at the Pakenham Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library.
Songs of the War Years is a fundraiser for the Almonte Legion, presented at 730PM at the Almonte Old Town Hall. Conceived and written by Elaine McCausland, the DTF Productions presentation features period music combined with vignettes. Cost of Admission is $30.00. Carleton Place:
Today: Home Hospice North Lanark’s Caregiver Support Group takes place from 1-3PM at the Station Active Living Centre, at 120 Coleman Street. Membership is not required.
Local Sports:
Arnprior Packers welcome the Athens Aeros to the Nick Smith Centre on Friday November 21st at 730PM.
Arnprior Rivermen take on the South Stormont Mustangs on Saturday November 22nd at the Long Sault Arena, beginning at 630PM.
