September’s “Grove Rove”, organized by the Save the Grove Again Committee will be a unique experience in many ways!
On Saturday, September 20th, enjoy the changing of the seasons, a free guided tour of Gillies Grove old-growth forest, stories from the First Peoples in honour of Truth and Reconciliation Day at month’s end, and a cozy tea to enjoy during the walk.
Sourced from Indigenous-owned and operated Mādahòkì Farm, the “Smelling the Forest” tea has been foraged by Chipmunk Stéphanie from native plants found in local forests: bring your own cup!
Meet at 154 Ottawa Street, Saturday September 20th at 9AM.
