Arnprior:
Today: All this week both the websites of the Town of Arnprior and the Municipality of Mississippi Mills are promoting the Summer Adventure Camp schedule at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area. Activities are offered weekdays from 9AM-4PM for kids ages 6-12. Campers enjoy a variety of nature-themed games and adventurous activities at the beautiful Mill of Kintail location. Each day will include time spent playing, learning and exploring in the forested trails, stream, and fields. For major activities, campers will be split by age groups as needed to ensure age-appropriate levels of play.

Mississippi Mills:
Today: Check the Summer Adventure Camp schedule at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area. Activities are offered weekdays from 9AM-4PM for kids ages 6-12. The Mill of Kintail Conservation Area is located at 2854 Ramsay Concession 8, Almonte.
A Meal for All’s Free Community Breakfast takes place from 830-1030AM at 111 Church Street in Almonte. A MEAL FOR ALL strives to build community by providing opportunities to gather and share food.
The Almonte Civitan Club Community Luncheon takes place from 1130AM-130PM at the Civitan Hall, 500 Almonte Street. The menu features homemade Chinese Food, dessert, tean and coffee. Tickets are $23, available at Baker Bob’s and online at www.almontecivitan.com/shop
Tomorrow: Pakenham Drop-in Coffee Time happens from 10-11:30AM at the Pakenham Branch of the Mississippi Mills Public Library
The Conversational French Club takes place from 10:30-11:30AM at the Almonte Library Branch. An intermediate knowledge of French is required.
Carleton Place:
Today: There’s a public open house to show off the Franktown Road Neighbourhood Secondary Plan and the preferred land use plan. Drop-in from 4-6PM to review the plan, ask the project team questions, and provide feedback. Your comments and suggestions will be used to inform the final Secondary Plan. The Findlays of High Street Walking Tour happens from 630-8PM. Join us on High Street as we remember the Findlay Foundry and the folks that worked there, then follow us west as we spotlight the Findlay family and the homes they built and lived in.
