Take Note: The first annual “Bunny Run” is coming up Saturday April 19th, and is proving quite popular with residents. Because of limited registration spaces, Arnprior Recreation is maintaining a waiting list to try to satisfy as many participants as possible. There are 2k and 5k events and medals will be awarded to all who take part. Contact Lucas Power, Programming and Events Supervisor, at 613-623-7301 extension 1795.
Also Saturday, the Museum is hosting its first-ever “Repair Cafe”, from 2-4PM. Bring texile items you’d like to learn to fix, or have an expert teach you how to fix and enjoy the company of like-minded individuals.
Mississippi Mills:
Today: A Meal for All presents its Free Community Breakfast this morning from 830-1030AM at 111 Church Street in Almonte.
Destination Almonte’s Spring Night Market takes place today from 5-8PM.
Writers, poets and storytellers are invited to the Open Mic at Ottawa Valley Coffee from 7-9PM

Tomorrow: The Good Friday Walk of the Cross, an Ecumenical gathering of Almonte’s Christian community happens from Noon to 130PM. Join at the beginning or anywhere along the route. A short service and light refreshments follow at Hillside Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Take Note: The Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust Community Auction gives you the opportunity to bid on various birdhouses while helping support the conservation work of the MMLT.
