The Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (R.O.P.E.) Squad has confirmed the successful apprehension of a federal offender who went unlawfully at large earlier this month. Jesse Judge, who was being sought after failing to comply with his parole conditions on March 1, was located and arrested by the Ottawa Police Service.
Judge was serving a sentence of 3 years and 8 months for charges including Break, Enter and Commit and Mischief in Relation to Property. His arrest marks the successful conclusion of the investigation, and the R.O.P.E. Squad would like to extend its gratitude to the public and the media for their support in locating him.
Authorities have praised the efforts of those involved, ensuring that justice continues to be served.
