All public and Catholic board schools and work sites in Renfrew County are closed today (Thursday, Feb. 13) because of the ongoing winter storm.
All bus routes are also cancelled.
Officials say this decision was made in the interest of student and staff safety as hazardous conditions continue across the region.
Families can stay updated by visiting the board or their school’s websites and social media.
Officials say they appreciate the understanding of school communities and encourage everyone to stay safe during this weather event.
