A prime piece of real estate in uptown Arnprior will be getting a helping hand from the Town in order to facilitate its sale.
Clerk Kayla Zamjoski placed the matter on the table October 15th.
Town Planner Alix Jolicouer told elected representatives that current “airport development” zoning is not practical.
Jolicouer suggests broadening the usage designation may be in everyone’s interest.
This process will welcome public input
Representatives approved the request, and a public meeting is slated for the next Council session, to occur November 12th.
One possible interested party may be Arnprior Regional Health, recently rebuffed by the Galilee Centre in its efforts to expand to adjacent lands at its present location.
