Carleton Place is a destination weekend, as the community celebrates Pumpkinfest! From today through Sunday the Town is jammed-packed with activities.
Among the highlights are: the Locally-Made Night Market, 4-8PM today at the Market Square Pavilion, Oktoberfest, 5-9PM today at St. James Church (tickets required), Vicki Brittle performs at The Foundry Collective from 6-7:30PM and Cait Porteous at St. James Gate Pub from 7-10PM tonight.
Saturday, check out the Multicultural Fair at Zion Memorial Church from 8:30AM to 2PM; the Farmers Market at Market Square from 8:30 to 12:30; the Ottawa Sens Street Team at Carleton Junction from 10:30 to 2PM; the BIA’s Pumpkinfest Brew Tour, 11AM to 5PM, and the Kids’ Costume Dance Party from 2-3PM at Carleton Junction.
Sunday will have live music from Cargo Cult, 10AM to 3PM at The Market Square Pavilion, as well as Mini Train rides ($2)- with three shows from Orville Doodles and His Terrible Imaginary Puppets (donations appreciated).
