The first individual to hold the position of Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Renfrew, Robert Tremblay, is leaving the role effective November 1st of this year.
The Town of Renfrew made the official announcement last evening (September 9th).
Tremblay accepted what was, at the time, the initial position in a new governance model embarked upon by the municipality, and guided Renfrew through the process of setting up the new structures.
He had previously been the Chief Administrative Officer for Whitewater Region, and served in the Clerk’s role with the Town of Meaford and in an initial administrative capacity in Lanark Highlands.
Renfrew Mayor Tom Sidney reflects, “Rob has been an integral part of Renfrew’s growth since joining more than two years ago. His leadership and dedication have set a strong foundation for the future…”
The Town of Renfrew’s Council will begin the process of recruiting a new CAO and is committed to a smooth transition as Mr. Tremblay concludes his tenure.
