Multiple media sources are reporting a March 25th grass fire just outside of Dunrobin.
The fire spread to a garage, prompting the response of volunteer firefighters.
It’s reported that Ottawa Fire received a 911 call from the home owner at 17:10PM yesterday afternoon, reporting a grass fire on the property.
Within minutes of the initial 911 call, area residents called in to say the dwelling’s garage had caught fire.
An OFS Deputy Chief travelling in the vicinity confirmed the working fire as at 17:14PM.
Roads in the area were temporarily closed and the situation was swiftly brought under control by the efforts of first responders.
An Ottawa Fire Investigator has been dispatched to the scene to determine the origin and cause of the blaze.
