The Municipality of Mississippi Mills confirms a continuing OPP presence in the village of Pakenham.
Lanark County Ontario Provincial Police continue to investigate, after the body of a woman was found near Pakenham on Sunday, November 12th.
While officers do not publicly acknowledge the focus of their investigation, police vehicles can be seen in the vicinity of the community’s Five Span Bridge.
According to the OPP, there is no threat to public safety.
