Our neighbours in Renfrew are gearing up for their popular Winter Carnival, and fun-seekers are invited from across the Valley and beyond to participate in Frewfest!
Festivities kick off Thursday with a brand new event.
Jo-anne Caldwell, the Parks and Recreation department’s program developer says sledge hockey with the Renfrew Icepickers will take over Ma-te-Way Park Thursday morning.
Caldwell invites everyone to drop by Ma-te-Way over the four day event and take in all the park has to offer.
Jo-anne says to not miss Friday morning when members of our military will put on an outdoor winter display.
Also on Friday is public skating and a Wood Sign Making Workshop. Find the full schedule on the town’s website, Renfrew.ca.
