Calabogie Peaks says they’re trying to re-open their ski hills on Wednesday, January 4th after a early morning fire the day before.
The fire caused significant damage to the resort’s pump house, which allows them to produce snow for their hills.
However, Calabogie Peaks took to social media on Tuesday, January 3rd to let the community know that the fire did not affect their ski lifts or the slopes themselves.
We’ve reached out to them for more details, and they suggest to keep an eye on their social media and website for updates.
The resort adds that they’ll be going over options to replace lift tickets purchased for Tuesday by directly emailing customers.
UPDATE: Calabogie Peaks now says they will be open for skiing today, Wednesday, January 4th, from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
