Sawmill Flats, at the mouth of the Madawaska, has had its official grand opening.
The event took place Thursday afternoon (December 15th)
Tom Orr, along with his Stratford partners, the Hyde family, are developing two luxury apartments and a living complex on the site which has sat vacant for much of the last eighty years.
He acknowledges the name was chosen more for its history than its marketing potential.
The obvious segue is, “the land cleans up well” and the well-situated site is already on the way to building its clientele base.
Orr says in addition to the well-appointed units, there are numerous amenities all residents enjoy in common.
