There are twelve candidates for Councillor roles with the Town of Arnprior in the October 24th Municipal Election, and Oldies 107.7 will provide information on these nominees in the same alphabetic order their names appear on the ballot.
Apart from pursuing Architectural studies in the “Big Smoke”, Lynn Grinstead is a life-long resident of the community.
She is seeking her fourth term on Council.
Grinstead says challenges come in all shapes and sizes.
Grinstead says she’s not shy to make it when noise is needed.
Newcomer Leslie Anne Hook says there’s no time like the present to add some fresh faces around the Arnprior Council Table.
Hook says she’s been active behind the scenes as a fundraiser for volunteer activities.
Leslie Anne thinks negative press is a municipal ball-and-chain.
In addition to twelve nominees for the five Council positions, there are two candidates for County Councillor, and three individuals seeking to be Arnprior’s Mayor for 2023-2026.
