Bicycle Safety, and how to learn it in a fun way is the topic of a Bike Rodeo being presented on Friday September 24th in the parking lot of the John A. Gillies Recreation Centre located at 138 Sarah Street East in Braeside.
It’s a presentation of the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police and members of the McNab/Braeside Fire Department, beginning at 10:30AM.
Children between the ages of 4-14 are encouraged to come out and participate in the different stations and will earn a bicycle certificate after completion.
Participants must bring their own bicycle and helmet, and parents of young children are asked to stay on site.
It’s a free event, and you don’t have to be a resident of the Township to participate.
