At the beginning of 2020 the Town of Carleton Place jettisoned its traditional overnight Winter parking procedures which had been identical to Ottawa’s, and moved to a manageable overnight winter parking ban.
Chief Administrative Officer Diane Smithson says rather than leave guests in the lurch, a number of locations where visitors can leave their vehicles has been identified.
Smithson says there are some site-specific rules, but the bottom line is vehicles won’t have to be moved until the next morning.
