The Algonquin College Campus in Pembroke is also reopening its doors today for staff and students. Like the other local school boards, the campus was forced to close when COVID-19 hit earlier this year. Manager of Community and Student Affairs at Algonquin, Jamie Bramburger says they are looking forward to getting back.
Bramburger says to ensure the safety of staff and students, the campus will be closed to the general public for the time being. Bramburger also says despite the pandemic, enrollment continues to hold strong at the campus.
