An investigation is underway after a small plane crashed near Arnprior late last night. Ottawa Fire Services received a call from the OPP at 8:34pm advising a small plane had crashed just south of the 417 near the County Road 29 exit. Once on scene, emergency crews found the plane overturned in a field roughly 20 meters south of the Highway. The two occupants had escaped the wreckage and were treated by Renfrew County Paramedics. Firefighters were able to stabilize the upside-down plane and contained a fuel leak.
