The Urgent Animal Care Fund is a project to help the SPCA support animals and pet owners, and maintain operations during troubled COVID times.
Heather Jobe, of the Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Animal Centre says while adoptions and other crucial programs are on pause, care for animals at the shelter continues.
The Urgent Animal Care Fund will help cover long term costs, ensure animals in our communities are safe should their families face financial hardship, become ill, or if they can’t access critical supplies and resources like food or veterinary care.
Contributions to the Urgent Animal Care Fund will stay local to help in our community.
