We are closing in on the final weekend for Poppy Sales in advance of next Monday’s Remembrance Day, and Branch 174 of the Royal Canadian Legion Arnprior Poppy Campaign Chairperson Jan Tobio says her team of 20 volunteers has all bases covered.
There are poppy displays in almost every business in town, and volunteers can be found at shopping malls, supermarkets and the like.
The Poppy Campaign Chairperson says none of the donations collected are used by the Arnprior Legion.
Tobio says your poppy donation can help with veterans housing, PTSD support dogs, research and development and more.
Wear your poppy in gratitude for the contributions veterans have made to our society’s peace and well-being from now until November 11th.
