In Lanark-Frontenac-Kingston, incumbent Scott Reid claimed his seventh election victory.
The Conservative member polled 48 percent of the vote (with 252 of 254 polls reporting) to turn aside Kaylee Kennedy of the Liberal Party, who claimed 24.5 percent of votes cast.
Third was New Democrat Stanika Schilling who attracted 14.4 percent.
The Green Party’s Stephen Kotze took 11.1 percent of votes cast, while People’s Party candidate Matthew Barton drew 1.8 percent support.
Scott Reid says he truly loves his constituency- and his job.
The MP says the cost of the Liberal Party’s promises made during this election is staggering.
Reid says 90 billion dollars in costed promises has to be combined with other Liberal pledges that came with no price tag.
