TODAY: Local Immigration Partnership of Lanark and Renfrew Counties invites you to discover how to collect, explore, and preserve the stories that make your family history unique this Thursday. The group will host “Dig Into Your Roots: Preserving Family History,” a hands-on collaboration with the Arnprior and McNab/Braeside Archives introducing families to building and preserving their family history. TODAY: Get in tune with friends and neighbours at the Renfrew Public Library this Thursday! Call of the Loon Community Singing takes place inside the library every Thursday afternoon from 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm. Singers will learn meaningful and beautiful songs about the earth, joy, gratitude in a welcoming environment for people to gather and feel part of a community. No singing experience necessary.
TOMORROW: Freaky Friday returns to Downtown Renfrew! Families are welcome to a fiendishly fun evening of trick-or-treat at locations along Raglan Street South, take part in a Witches Walk at the Renfrew Food Bank, and stop by the Renfrew Legion for the Monster Mash family dance. Events begin at 5:00 pm. This year’s theme is Witches, Wizards & Warlocks!
TOMORROW: The Riversong Players present: The Ghost Walk of Almonte: Follow the Thread… an immersive theatrical Halloween walk through the streets and shadows of historic Almonte, where eerie tales, mysterious characters and unexpected encounters await around every corner.
