TODAY: Helping Hands+ and The Cupboard present the Fall for CHEO fundraiser, this Friday, October 2, at the Arnprior Parish Hall, 285 Albert Street. Enjoy entertainment from Arc of Fire and Ambush starting at 6:00 pm. All profits from the event will support the CHEO Foundation, supporting Ottawa Valley families getting treatment in Ottawa. Tickets are $25 in advance at select retailers or $30 at the door. Children 18 and under are welcome for free until 8:00 pm that evening.
TODAY: The Arnprior Legion hosts its weekly Burger Friday lunch, rain or shine at Legion Branch 174 on Daniel Street North! Drop by from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for burgers, sausages, hotdogs, fries and poutine. Plus, the bar will be open for refreshments!
TODAY: Join Renfrew Minor Hockey Association for Youth Shinny Program for ages 9–13 at 4:00 pm this Friday, October 2. A fun, informal way for young players to build confidence, get extra ice time, and enjoy the game with friends. Full hockey equipment is required, including a CSA-approved helmet with a full face mask. For safety, body contact, slap shots, and lifting the puck are not permitted. Sign up online
TOMORROW: Watch Séan McCann and Jeremy Fisher live as United in Song plays at the Grace St. Andrew’s United Church, John Street North in Arnprior, This Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00! The two legendary Canadian musicians will step onto the stage with their best and most beloved music. Tickets available online only.
TOMORROW: L’Arche Arnprior’s second annual Walk n’ Roll is Saturday, October 3rd at their offices at the Kenwood Corporate Centre in Arnprior. Located at 16 Edward Street South, registration opens at 10am with the walk getting underway at 11am. Participants will set off on a 2km walk throughout downtown Arnprior, with classic rock playing and plenty of community spirit to go around. The walk will end at the start point with lunch, treats and event merchandise available for purchase
TOMORROW: Join Ottawa Markets Collective at the Renfrew Armouries on Veterans Memorial Blvd for the Handmade Harvest Market on Saturday, October 3, 2026 for a day celebrating local artisans, makers and food vendors. This curated artisan market features 60 vendors showcasing a wide selection of handmade goods and delicious local food from talented local creators. Parking and entry are FREE. 11:00 am to 4:00 pm.
