TODAY: Experience music in the making this Monday with the the Great Mad Band and Arnprior SALC Brass Ensemble! The bands are holding an open rehearsal at the Calabogie Community Centre this at 1:30 pm this Monday, September 28. Get a behind the scenes look at how the musicians work together to bring the music to life — exploring solos, dynamics, tempos and arrangements along the way. Free to attend!

TODAY: Grab a paddle and hit the court for Pickleball, happening at the myFM Centre’s Home Hardware Gymnasium in Renfrew every Monday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 am! The weekly games are meant for adults age 16+. Enroll on the town’s website.

TODAY: Cold Bear Brewery in Arnprior hosts their cornhole league Monday nights at 6:00 pm! The greatest athletes in Arnprior and the surrounding area will gather at their Madawaska Blvd. location to compete for a Cold Bear gift card. Games will be played in teams of 2, sign up as a team for $5. Plus, BBQ will be available as a dinner option on Monday nights!

TOMORROW:  The Friends of McNab/Braeside Democracy group is hosting an all candidates meeting Tuesday, September 29th at McNab Public School. Doors open at 6 p.m. with the event getting underway at 7 p.m. Candidates will be answering questions concerning issues focused on the Township of McNab/Braeside and its residents, followed by a Q&A session.

TOMORROW: Horton Township presents yoga with instructor Sarah St. Germain this Tuesday, September 29. Meet at the Horton Community Centre at 7:30 pm. Drop in Fee $15 Cash per class. Register and pay online at www.hortontownship.ca/payments
