TODAY: The County of Renfrew invites the community to their Municipal Day Open House from 3:00 to 6:00 pm this Thursday, September 16. Drop in to Renfrew County Place, 450 O’Brien Road in Renfrew, for family fun, including a radar run, touch-a-truck, paint-a-plow, plus displays from their forestry and Sierra teams, vendors from Taste of the Valley, a job fair and more!
TODAY: The Women’s Sexual Assault Centre of Renfrew County holds it’s annual Take Back the Night march this Thursday at Barry’s Bay’s Water Tower Park. Demonstrators are asked to gather starting at 6:30 pm, with the march taking off at around 7:30 pm. A gathering and light refreshments will be held after the walk. Be sure to dress for the weather.
TODAY: Arnprior youth can dive into the world of Dungeons & Dragons with the help of their local library this Thursday at 3:00 pm! Their weekly Dungeons & Dragons program is for both experienced players and those new to the game in grades 5 – 8. Snacks are provided. TOMORROW: The 2026 Fall Palmer River Fest is on for this weekend. Join the fun at the Palmer Rapids Paddler Co-op for a full weekend of clinics, community & music on the Madawaska River! TOMORROW: Friday night is Trivia Night in McNab/Braeside, with this week’s party going tropical! Dress in your best tropical, beach, or island-inspired outfit and join quiz master Jason Marshall at the John A. Gillies Centre starting at 7:00 pm. Teams of up to 6 players can join for $60.
